Discussion of Hugh’s presentation

• Website editing – NVU is easy to use and Hugh has a number of older (50+) pupils using it – NVU
• Perl is available for Windows at Active State
• Apache/Php/Mysql in a bundle is available for Windows at Foxserv
• Content management – suggests Drupal or Mambo Server
• Mail client – Thunderbird – works with IMAP and POP mail – also Pegasus (free but not OS)
• Social Source Commons – will be an online repository of OSS – similar to Source Forge but for OSS suitable for non-profits – coming soon!
