Don is an information technology specialist and environmentalist. He is experienced in managing and implementing exciting and innovative local, national and international ICT programmes in both industrialised and developing countries. Don spoke about the 1990 Trust which exists to help BME organisations, campaign against racism and for human rights.
The Trust’s technology consists of networking, mail server, web server, storage/backup to facilitate finance & admin, campaigns and publishing
They are using Debian Linux, Post Fix (mail transfer), Apache web server and Amanda for backup. www.amanda.org
