SocialSource 2005SocialSource again held an event this year to act as a meeting-point for those interested in the potential of Free & Open Source software and methods for the Voluntary and Non-profit sector. It was very much in the style of 2004's, building on the enthusiastic reception it received. Many participants may share an interest in the wider issues relating to "Openness" in general - e.g. "Open Society", and whilst the event will be focused on Free and Open Source as a potential benefit to Voluntary & Community Sector technology, there is expected to be discussion around some of the non-technology issues on the day including political participatory and empowerment.
